The coating is made of the polyester type Hytrel®. This provides the conveyor belt with its wear-resistant and cut-resistant properties, but also ensures oil- and grease-resistance. Besides that Hytrel® can be properly welded onto PVC. This type is deployed as wear-resistant conveyor belt in logistics and recycling, in the metal industry for lightweight metal parts and can also be used in the tobacco industry, thanks to the Hytrel® coating.
